Job Title: CAD Designer –  Civil Engineering Location: Hybrid/Remote – Office in London Salary: Competitive, Based on Experience Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Company: Our client is a leading civil engineering firm specialising in infrastructure, construction, and land development projects. They are looking for a skilled CAD Designer to produce high-quality technical drawings and designs to support a variety of civil engineering projects.   Role & Responsibilities: Develop 2D and 3D CAD drawings for civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage, utilities, and structural components. Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to produce accurate and detailed design plans. Ensure all drawings comply with UK building regulations, industry standards, and project specifications. Modify and update existing drawings based on project requirements and feedback. Assist in conducting site surveys and incorporating real-world data into designs. Work with topographical data, geospatial mapping, and GIS systems where required. Maintain organised records of drawings and project documentation. Requirements: Proven experience as a CAD Designer, Civil Technician, or similar role in the civil engineering sector. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or other relevant CAD software. Strong understanding of highway design, drainage systems, and infrastructure planning. Knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards (e.g., DMRB, S278, S104). Ability to interpret engineering drawings, topographical surveys, and geotechnical reports. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work to deadlines. Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
