Thornton Technical Solutions are currently recruiting experienced Fire Door Installers for a leading contractor delivering fire safety and compliance projects across Dartford and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled installers looking for long-term contract work with immediate starts available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of fire doors in accordance with current fire safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
• Upgrading and remedial works to existing fire doors.
• Fitting ironmongery including hinges, closers, locks, seals, and signage.
• Ensuring all works are completed to BM TRADA and FIRAS standards where applicable.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety.
• Completing installation records and quality assurance documentation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience installing and upgrading fire doors.
• Good knowledge of passive fire protection regulations.
• Own tools and transport.
• CSCS Card (essential).
• NVQ in Carpentry or Joinery (preferred).
• FIRAS, BM TRADA or equivalent accreditation advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
