Business Development Manager –  Charge Point Operator (EV Charging) Location: UK (Hybrid/Remote Available) Salary: Competitive, Based on Experience + Commission & Benefits Job Type: Permanent, Full-time About the Company: Our client is a rapidly growing Charge Point Operator (CPO) dedicated to expanding the UK’s electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. They provide innovative, reliable, and scalable EV charging solutions for businesses, local authorities, and commercial property owners. As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new partnerships and accelerate the deployment of EV charging solutions. Role & Responsibilities: Identify and secure new business opportunities with landowners, businesses, local councils, and commercial real estate partners. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including fleet operators, property developers, and retail chains. Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial outreach to contract negotiation and deal closure. Work closely with the operations and technical teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Stay informed on EV market trends, government incentives, and industry regulations. Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve growth targets. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities. Requirements: Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within the EV charging, renewable energy, or infrastructure sectors. Strong understanding of the EV charging market, charge point deployment models, and regulatory landscape. Experience negotiating commercial agreements, leases, and service contracts. A strong network within the transport, energy, or property sectors (advantageous). Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
