As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join their team and ensure the integrity and operational efficiency of their fire alarm systems.
Role & Responsibilities:
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and national fire safety regulations.
Conduct fire alarm system inspections and risk assessments, and perform system testing to ensure optimal performance.
Work closely with project teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure successful project execution.
Develop and review technical specifications, engineering drawings, and operational procedures for fire alarm installations.
Implement and manage fire alarm inspection, testing, and maintenance programs.
Provide technical guidance on fire alarm system integrity, safety measures, and environmental considerations.
Troubleshoot and repair faults in fire alarm systems to maintain the highest level of operational readiness.
Requirements:
A degree or certification in Electrical Engineering, Fire Safety, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer or in a similar technical role.
Strong knowledge of fire alarm system design, installation, and maintenance.
Familiarity with fire safety codes and regulations (NFPA, NEC, local fire codes).
Experience with fire alarm system programming and integration.
Proficiency in fire alarm testing equipment and industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, CAD for system designs).
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients and regulatory bodies.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
