Fire Stopper – Immediate Start
Location: London & Home Counties (Inside M25)
Salary: £220–£250 per day (DOE)

Thornton Technical Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading passive fire protection contractor for experienced Fire Stoppers to join projects across London and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of fire stopping systems in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications and current regulations.
- Batt and mastic installations.
- Fire sealing around service penetrations.
- Installation of fire collars, wraps, and acoustic sealants.
- Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and fully compliant.
- Completing installation records and photographic evidence where required.
- Working safely and maintaining site health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in passive fire protection and fire stopping.
- NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection (preferred).
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Own tools and PPE.
- Ability to read drawings and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
